EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE - ADULTS WITH MENTAL ILLNESS
Individual supported employment provides situational assessments that allow a job seeker to "try out" a job. Offers highly individualized job development, job coaching, on-the-job training, coaching on job seeking skills and appropriate employee behavior, and long-term follow-up to ensure job retention. Provides guidance on how to use public transportation to get to and from work.
